David Wallen

Senior Vice President, Cyber Operations, ManTech International Corporation

    David P. Wallen is senior vice president of ManTech’s Cyber Operations and Exploitation Solutions (COES) Division, supporting mission critical customers in the Defense, intelligence community, and federal civilian government departments. He is responsible for client satisfaction, contract execution, resource management, full lifecycle support, operations and sustainment and business development.

    Before joining ManTech, Mr. Wallen led BAE Systems’ Intelligence and Economic Security practices, focusing on federal customers whose mission had a direct bearing on national security and the U.S. economy. While leading BAE Systems’ National Intelligence Group, he headed a $1 billion enterprisewide infrastructure and mission applications modernization effort for an IC member. Following the events of 9/11, he provided strategic study support to key IC customers.

    In a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Wallen has managed IT development projects and intelligence practices for Fortune 500 enterprises, including PricewaterhouseCoopers. He served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, providing IT, intelligence and analytics support for the Joint Chiefs of Staff J-8, the 2nd Marine Division and NATO military exercises.

    Mr. Wallen holds an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University, and a BBA in Management Information Systems from James Madison University. He has received executive leadership training at Wharton and Oxford, and certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and ITIL Foundation.
