Brett A. Barraclough

Vice President, Cyber and Information Solutions, Defense Sector, ManTech

    Brett Barraclough is a senior executive skilled in program management of cyber operations, aerospace and information solutions protecting national security. He has more than 20 years of experience solving complex problems and achieving defensive and offensive cyber results for the U.S. government. As a vice president in ManTech’s Defense Sector, Mr. Barraclough is an expert in the cyber and information services disciplines, delivering solutions to solve the increasingly sophisticated needs of customers such as the Defense Information Systems Agency, U.S. Army Program Executive Office (PEO) for Enterprise Information Systems, PEO for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation and the Army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command.

    Mr. Barraclough’s areas of expertise include programs focused on defensive cyber operations, biometric technologies, force protection and global positioning systems. His responsibilities include program management plan development, account plan development, future opportunity analysis, and program transition. He is a certified Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act, Level III program manager and Program Management Professional.

    Mr. Barraclough joined ManTech after transitioning from a distinguished Army career as a colonel, where he commanded at all levels. He served in three wars, both in special operations and acquisition program management. He capped his Army career serving as the chief of staff of U.S. forces in Afghanistan and as the assistant deputy for Acquisition Systems Management at the Pentagon. Mr. Barraclough fielded the first tactical handheld biometric collection device to U.S. forces deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan and blazed trails in system integration to protect forward operating bases. He was also the range control officer at the Kwajalein Atoll, testing the Ground-based Midcourse Defense system, and an assistant professor of engineering at the
    U.S. Military Academy. An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Barraclough seeks to develop and deploy promising technologies to safeguard Americans, at home and abroad. He seeks to serve on an honorable team and provide meaningful service.

    Mr. Barraclough has earned a Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Strategic Studies from the Army War College. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.

    His awards and honors include the Master Parachutist Badge with Combat Jump Device, Combat Infantryman Badge, Ranger Tab, Brazilian Peacemaker Medal and U. S. Army Distinguished Service Medal.
