Dan Smith joined ManTech in 2015 through ManTech’s acquisition of Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG).

In his role as VP and division manager, Dan leads and manages the Cybersecurity Solutions Division.

Dan is a focused and obsessive innovator and technologist who loves building and growing incredible teams and solving his clients’ most challenging IT problems.

He has been designing and integrating enterprise IT solutions exclusively for the public sector for more than 15 years, and is primarily focused on cybersecurity, cloud computing and IT operations.

While at ManTech, Dan has also worked as the executive director responsible for ManTech’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Task Orders, supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and helping improve the cybersecurity posture across the federal government.

Also during his tenure at ManTech, Dan has been the chief solutions architect, responsible for working directly with clients to understand their requirements and objectives, design innovative solutions and ensure that those solutions were effectively implemented. He has extensive experience with a broad range of enterprise IT applications, technologies and integration approaches.
