Eric Brown in Vice President and Division Manager of Innovative Security Solutions for ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group, where he establishes, grows and maintains cyber and mission-centric business practices and delivery of contracts across the U.S. Defense Department and intelligence community.
In his role, Mr. Brown is responsible for the division’s leadership, direction, management and growth. He is a results-oriented executive with a diverse career reflecting strong leadership and implementing practical, real-world innovative solutions for ManTech’s customers.
Mr. Brown has more than 17 years of executive management and leadership experience in offensive and defensive cyber operations, enterprise IT and product development. He is a highly accomplished visionary who combines deep technical expertise with leadership, sales and management experience to deliver quality differentiated solutions to customers.
Throughout his career, Mr. Brown has provided thought leadership and advisory services to various customers within the Defense Department and intelligence community, particularly in disciplines that range from enterprise architecture to the computer network operations that support some of the most important campaigns that the nation’s warfighters face.
Mr. Brown is a repeat employee with ManTech. He worked for the company from 2004 to 2008 as a technical director and senior technical adviser managing a diverse team of highly skilled employees in a number of areas. He returned to ManTech this year, drawn by the mission focus, the capabilities and the shared culture of working hard to make sure ManTech delivers mission-critical solutions to the company’s diverse customer base.
Before rejoining ManTech, Mr. Brown was director of cyber programs at Raytheon, where he led, directed and managed the CODE Center and developed and matured the cyber resilience line of business. Before Raytheon, Mr. Brown was an executive for Cyber and Intelligence Systems at CACI/Six3Systems, responsible for the Cyber and Intelligence Systems strategy, leadership, management oversight, profit/loss, product development and program execution.
He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Strayer University. He holds various professional certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Information Systems Security Processional (CISSP), Information Technology Information Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
