Greg Wigton

Program Manager, Cyber Security Division, Science and Technology Directorate, Department of Homeland Security

    Greg Wigton is a Program Manager in the Cyber Security Division (CSD) within the Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  Mr. Wigton has been at DHS since August 2005 and has provided program management support to the Cyber Security Research and Development activities at DHS S&T since November 2006.  He previously managed research projects focused on cybersecurity metrics and useable security, and currently manages projects focused on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, including the oil and gas sector and the financial sector.

    Prior to transitioning to a Program Manager for the Cyber Security Research and Development program, Mr. Wigton worked for the Schafer Corporation providing budgetary planning and program support to DHS S&T Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency.  His focus is on project management and information systems.  Mr. Wigton received a Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Virginia Tech.
